I have a CQ58 by compaq here at the moment that has no power.... You plug the charger in.. The led at the charge port blinks 3 times then goes off.... It was brought to me by a friend to look at.. I had no power adapter that fit.. So I uses a butchered universal power adapter that I have and soldered on the leads to the correct terminals... I now have 19V input power... I have no schematic so if anyone knows where I can get this I would be grateful... I have traced the voltage on the charge circuit, that seems to get to the battery fine... As I still have a few points to check as of yet... The problem seems to be on the underside of the board... I get 19v in from power jack, it hits first capacitor and then after that I have no voltage at the MOSFET.... More detailed explanation of my problem is the following laptop came in contact with liquid juice to be more precise. The laptop cq58 does not power on I have not tested for voltages and such like just opened it up to visually inspect any problematic areas. The following caps are discoloured in the corresponding numbered area: cs87,c1314,c1325, black chip seems to be labelled us415 Please any help on the values of the caps as I would like to repair thanks in advance.
